Just got back from a trip up north with a few days in Scotland. Very pleasant except I discovered once I got to Scotland that I didnt fit in my new tent! I had not taken into account the added hight of an air matress and a thick sleeping bag. I had to leave the interior flap open and got eaten alive by midges. Also it rained constantly and I got soaked through. Not one of my finest moments.
Brought my bike back to Brum and am really looking forward to getting out on some decent rides.
This was waiting when I got back, and I am planning to visit some of these new sites. Some of the rock art in Ireland is particularly stunning.
